Lush Spring Wedding at Lacuna Lofts
I was so excited when my friend Jereme found the love of his life and got engaged to Marissa. I was even more excited when they entrusted me to be their wedding planner! Their love story goes a little something like this:
Girl moves to Chicago. Girl’s co-worker sets up a dating app profile. Girl meets boy. Girl and Boy fall in love.
Jereme and Marissa got married on a gorgeous spring day in April. While their wedding was a huge celebration of their love, they were intentional in incorporating intimate moments throughout the day. The couple had a calm morning getting wedding-ready at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, the perfect prep location for a wedding in the South Loop or Pilsen. including a private vow reading at their first look
The couple’s HUGE wedding party was so much fun! With 10 attendants on each side, the couple was surrounded with love, laughs, and support throughout the entire day and it was beautiful to see how much their close friends and family cared so much about them and their union
Finding the perfect venue was very important to the couple. During the venue selection process, wedding venues in Chicago, the city where they fell in love, and a space that would lend to their romantic vision. Lacuna Lofts was the perfect venue for their Chicago wedding reception. Located in one of their favorite Chicago neighborhoods, Pilsen, Lacuna Lofts is artistic, and unique. We opted for lush florals and lots of candlelight to create a romantic and fun atmosphere.
After tying the knot, Jereme and Marissa ‘s reception was full of fun, laughs, and good vibes, surrounded by their friends and loved ones. Fun Fact: Post-wedding they were told by many that their wedding was the best and we’re just glad we could make it happen!
